Every week, we gather around our large ping pong... er, we mean production table, and enjoy a feast of gargantuan proportion (it has to be to feed Gordy!) We invite you to step into our weekly ritual and peek in on... BOM BOM BOM... :Lunch Club.
On chilly day Lauren treated us with some Texan style chili with corn bread. Susan made the most succulent pear salad. We also got a chance to take our creativity into a different level by carving our own Halloween pumpkins. What a blast! Be sure to check out the photos
Gordy and Laetitia started our day with the best breakfast ever. The menu consisted of every classic imaginable cereal, followed by Spanish tortillas, and home made bread with Nutella. Add mimosas to spark our morning... perfect ingredients to start our friday!
On this foggy and chilly day Gwendoline and Hayley answered to our cravings for a succulent fall meal. Hayley prepared an appetizing warm corn chowder and Gwendoline made Cabbage and carrot sesame slaw on the spot accompanied by some Jalapeno cornbread. Thanks to one of the latest amendments on the lunch club rules we are now able to have a small amount of alcohol. Gwendoline seized the opportunity by pairing our food with a tasty belgian beer (Chimay). Not to forget, Pumpkin pie à la mode for dessert. Thank you Gwelyey for this outstanding lunch club.
This week's menu consisted of a Franco-Venezuelan mix. Benoît prepared his signature dish: boeuf bourguignon. Javier delighted us with some pear/spinach salad with caramelized onions and a chive-shallot vinaigrette, followed by a world class flan.
This week, Amélie served up a pre 4th of July celebration with some good ol' American BBQ with baked beans, potato chips and pop-itz to keep everyone entertained as we ate out in the [temporary] garden picnic area.
This week, Gwendoline and Mélanie mastered their baking skills and presented us with different types of home made breads, among them olives and pepper jack, bacon and goat cheese, and mushrooms and gruyere cheese. They also delighted us with a mixed green salad and a 5 star Meringue Cups with Strawberries and Meyer Lemon Curd for dessert. To die for...
This week, Benoit and Michelle prepared corn tortillas filled with oven-roasted pulled pork, served with fresh corn salsa and crispy coleslaw infused with jalapenos. Benoit was sweating as usual, just at the thought of the jalapenos. The chocolate mousse that followed was nothing short of spectacular.
Anita and Tabor fixed up some Pork Chipotle Chili and Ooey-Gooey Turtle bars and ice cream for dessert. We were so full we barely took any photos. Needless to say, we all had belly-aches. It was worth it.
More quiche than you could shake a stick at... and an AMAZING greek salad followed by banana and chocolate cream pies. This was also the same week we decided we needed nap club.
Javier went down to the ocean and caught some fresh seafood for his Spanish Paella. Maybe that is an exaggeration, but it sure did taste that fresh. Dominique brought some fresh baked home-made cookies and french vanilla frozen yoghurt. Which actually ended up being plain vanilla ice cream. Funny how that happens.

Tell us about it and maybe we'll make it. If we do, we'll review it on the site, and probably invite you to lunch!
Getting along with Mother Nature is a good thing. We like living on this planet. It's inspiring when other people who feel the same way do something different and expressive to help clean up the planet. Check out the reverse graffiti project
Starting this summer, Amélie will host after hours events. Happy hours, guest speakers, and local artist reviews. More details coming soon.
