DENVER, CO - April 12, 2007 - Amélie Company, a Denver-based advertising, public relations and marketing agency, announces the hire of Dominique Yantorno as Traffic, Operations and Production Manager.
Yantorno comes to Amélie after a 3-year stint at a local Denver advertising agency where she worked as a project manager and handled extensive production projects. Prior to that, she spent 11 years as an Advertising Coordinator for a publisher of sports magazines. Yantorno was selected after a lengthy recruiting process. "This was a tough position to fill because it was tailored to meet the unique needs of our agency," said Benoît Guin, Agency Principal. "We didn't want to settle for anything less than a specific set of skills, credentials and agency experience. The expertise and production savvy that Dominique brings to Amélie allows us to offer an increased level of service to our clients."
For her part, Yantorno describes herself as an "internal, behind-the-scenes, glue-type person." "One of my greatest strengths is that I'm able to juggle a lot of different things at the same time", said Yantorno. "I'm a details person so project management comes naturally to me." A Colorado native, she's a cycling enthusiast who managed her family bike shop business for ten years. She's also passionate about all things Italian. Yantorno received her BA in Philosophy from Boston College.
