DENVER, CO - May 14, 2007 - Amélie Company, a Denver advertising, public relations and marketing agency, announces the company has been honored with Business Marketing Association-Colorado 2007 Gold Key Awards for the design of the 2006-2007 Babolat Press Kit and the 2007 Outlast Technologies Corporate Brochure.
The Gold Key Awards is Colorado's most prestigious competition dedicated solely to business-to-business marketing communications, recognizing the best talent in design and overall communications. Entries were judged on creativity, production/execution, selling proposition and results.
Michael Wilson, Director of Interactive Services for Amélie Company, received a Gold award for the 2006-2007 Babolat Press Kit. The Babolat Press Kit was designed to provide an overview of this family-run company and how its roots are firmly grounded in tennis history as well as showcase the latest technological innovations, current products and professional tennis players. "Our client required a design system that would be easy to update without reprinting the entire package," explained Wilson. "Our modular format has a lifespan of 2 years. The design itself is very dynamic - lots of movement - almost as if the players are sliding across the pages."
Wilson was also honored with a Silver award for the Outlast Technologies Corporate Brochure in the most competitive of the Gold Key Awards categories: Product Literature / Collateral Material - Product-Specific or Service-Specific Brochures or Catalogs. "The objective for the Outlast Technologies collateral was to update their existing brochure with emotive imagery that also demonstrated the tangible benefits of this technology...to be high tech, yet down to earth," said Wilson.
