DENVER, CO – May 1, 2006 – Amélie Company, a Denver advertising, public relations and marketing agency, was selected as a Silver
Award winner in the 2006 Business Marketing Association-Colorado 2006
Gold Key Awards for the design of the Outlast Technologies, Inc.
overview brochure.

The
2006 Gold Key Awards is Colorado’s most prestigious competition
dedicated solely to business-to-business marketing communications.
Entries were judged on creativity, production/execution, selling
proposition and results. Michael Wilson, New Media Director for Amélie
Company, received the Silver Award in the most competitive of the Gold
Key Awards categories: Product Literature / Collateral Material -
Product-Specific or Service-Specific Brochures or Catalogs.
The
objective for the Outlast brochure was to provide a quick and appealing
overview of Outlast® technology and its benefits, targeted at product
partners/prospects, fabric suppliers, industry insiders and media. The
challenge was to find a creative way to convey high-tech attributes
alongside textile content, show the variety of applications and provide
proofs-points for the technology.
“Outlast needed a multi-use
tool with a fresh look and high-tech graphics that would effectively
demonstrate how cool this technology really is,” said Heather Listoe,
Marketing Manager for Outlast Communications. “Amélie Company nailed it
with this design and copy. Our sales force loves the response they’ve
received from customers and prospects alike”.
Robin Ashmore,
Amélie Company Principal, said, “This is the first in a series of
marketing projects that Amélie is developing for Outlast. Michael
Wilson did a phenomenal job of answering the creative brief and
concepting a brochure that has become the cornerstone of their
communications materials. It’s wonderful to have the work of our
creative team recognized publicly by the BMA!”
Each year
Business Marketing Association-Colorado reviews and revises entry
categories to ensure that Gold Key reflects current marketing trends.
All entries are produced by, or for, Colorado companies. Winners were
honored at the 2006 Chiave dell’Oro (Gold Key) Awards banquet on
Friday, April 28, 2006. For more information about Gold Key, please
