We are looking for an Account Coordinator intern to assist in the management of the agency’s accounts and gain valuable insights from experienced supervisors on both the Account and Social teams.

Amélie is a mission-driven agency in Denver who delivers campaigns to educate and inform our audiences about public needs (e.g. traffic safety, health issues, education, etc.). We are dedicated to creating work that benefits communities and makes a difference.

We are looking for an Account Coordinator intern to assist in the management of the agency’s accounts and gain valuable insights from experienced supervisors on both the Account and Social teams. This person will be an active member of the team.

The intern will work alongside the Senior Account Supervisor (SAS) and the Senior Director of Channel Marketing & Media (SDCMM) to assist in many tasks, including but not limited to the development of creative assets, management of events and leadership of campaign street team efforts, involvement in client management, and coordination of social media campaigns and influencer programs.

Reports to Senior Account Supervisor.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities of the Account Coordinator intern could include, but are not limited to:


  • Accountable for on-time delivery of projects through collaboration with internal agency teams from inception through completion.
  • Support SAS and SDCMM in day-to-day management of projects, including timeline and budget tracking, and client communications.
  • Manage small-scale projects independently.
  • Coordination of and preparation for internal and client meetings; take meeting notes and provide recaps.
  • Scheduling organic and paid social content.
  • Social media community monitoring and management.
  • Coordination of client event attendance, including street team management and scheduling, and occasional event table staffing.
  • Monitoring of client industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Monitoring of social media platform trends and platform changes.
  • Management of analytics reporting from all internal teams, ensuring readiness for client review.
  • Create client presentation decks, complete proofing and copy-editing as needed on all documents.
  • Develop project briefs for creative, production and channel team project kickoffs.
  • Review vendor bids and present vendor bids to SAS; develop production estimates for client approval.
  • Manage purchase order creation, budget tracking, and development of client invoices.
  • Maintain up-to-date client information, job status, and time entries in project management tool.
  • Participate in new business proposal and internal marketing efforts, as necessary.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including assistance with any shipping/mailing projects.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working at an agency is a plus, but not required.
  • Desire to do meaningful and purpose-driven work.
  • Strong interest in advertising and eagerness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented, pride of ownership, team player, organized, strategic-thinker.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and clients at once, while managing priorities.
  • High level of professionalism and confidence in dealing directly with clients.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability and willingness to work a small amount of weekend events.

The Details

This intern would work a maximum of 40 hours a week, with some degree of flexibility.

All applicants must be located within Colorado and must be authorized to work in the U.S. This intern would need to be able to come to our office in Denver, CO at least twice a week (particular days are flexible).

This internship pays $20/hour and runs 15 weeks, from late-May to late-August (exact dates flexible). There is a high potential and intent for a full-time offer post-internship, pending performance and business needs of the company, so a recent college graduate is our ideal candidate.
